Sara Barati is an Iranian independent filmmaker and producer born in Tehran, Iran, in 1980.
She is graduated in Computer Science and English Translation in BA.
Their first film «Leaning on the Water» was released in Iran in April 2021.
Every year, my country, Iran, faces disasters of climate changes in different regions. «Leaning on the Water» shows how a river flood seriously challenges life of people from racial and religious minorities, who are less considered by the government in northeastern Iran.
